Web3 wallet creation is the last mandatory step to making all of the services available for the account created. There are two options of wallet setup: creating a new one or importing the existing one. Therefore, this article will elucidate all the options:
Creation of Web3 wallet
Regardless of the way to wallet setup you choose, when registering a wallet you have to give it a name and continue further on as depicted below:
Next follow the instructions and mark off the obligatory back up phrase usage instructions to proceed further.
When continued, you will be shown the secret phrase. At first, you will have to make sure that no one around is spying on you. Tap show to see the content. When the back up phrase has become visible, you will have to make sure to copy it or save as the pdf in the order the words are depicted.
When you have resumed the wallet registration process, the system will prompt you to enter the secret phrase in the correct order - the order that it was originally laid out for you.
Once the phrase is entered in the correct order, you will see a message of successful wallet setup. This means that now your account is up and running with an availability of all services offered.
Importing your existing Web3 wallet
On the wallet setup page, please select Wallet import.
Afterwards, the system will offer you to insert your secret phrase used when you created your own external web3 wallet.
Make sure that you have entered the correct phrase and in the correct order by tapping Visibility.
(The phrase depicted below is used as an example)
Tap Import to complete the process. Once successful, you will see a pop-up notifying you about wallet import.
